Place chayote on the world map, discover that peaches and roses are related, track down the herb in Grandma's stew, dig into something offal. The world's foods are explored, depicted and explained here.

You can tour our online exhibits in three ways. We have divided the world's food and drink into seventeen categories, track down a specific food related item alphabetically or find out how all the world's foods originated either in the Eastern or Western Hemisphere.

We are adding to these exhibits all the time from our actual museum collections. So plan to visit often to see what's new.
We add interesting facts and photographs of museum collections and link them to the food names.
