Who Threw That Coconut!, by comedian Jerry Colonna, was a comic recounting of the author's experiences entertaining the American troops in World War II. Colonna was a pal of movie star Bob Hope and often traveled with him. It may be difficult to see from this picture, but in the upper right corner is a green helmeted soldier who threw the coconut that hits Colonna. The monkey next to him is innocent. Monkeys do climb palm trees in search of coconuts, as you will find out in our Play section.
