Global Food Heritage Awards

Nominations & Suggestions

The Global Food Heritage Project is an undertaking of The Food Museum, a non-profit organization founded by Meredith Sayles Hughes and Tom Hughes, experts in the emerging field of exhibiting food history.  The inaugural awards were determined by them alone.

Each of the winners have been investigated and visited. These inaugural honorees set the standard for their categories.

In coming years we will invite others to join in the nomination and judging.

Nominations for the awards are accepted anytime. The winners are celebrated on Global Food Heritage Day, March 21st.

If you are interested in helping out as a potential judge, committee member or know someone who would like to help, please contact us.
