Global Food Heritage Project is an undertaking
of The Food Museum,
a non-profit organization founded by
Meredith Sayles Hughes and Tom
Hughes, experts in the emerging field
of exhibiting food history.
The inaugural awards are determined
by them alone.
Each
of the winners have been investigated
and visited.These inaugural honorees
set the standard for their categories.
Nominations
for the awards are accepted anytime.
New honorees are announced in late November.
The winners are celebrated on Global
Food Heritage Day, March 21st.
