The FOOD Museum is seeking to network with other non-profit organizations that share or complement our mission and concerns.

By networking, we mean sharing information, news, contacts, and association meetings. We hope to develop joint advocacy and outreach efforts, and share fund raising ventures.

The mission: The FOOD Museum examines what we eat and how we eat it, where it came from, how it has evolved, what its impact is on the world, and what its future may be. It researches, collects, preserves, exhibits and explains the history and social significance of the world's foods. The museum brings artifacts and programs to where people gather, both in person and on-line. In addition, The FOOD Museum promotes the preservation of other food-related museums and historic sites and assists the public in examining today's critical food-related issues.

The issues: food safety; school lunch reform; food banks; the U.S. obesity crisis; family farms & farmland protection; sustainable agriculture, seed preservation, and world hunger, among others.
